Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

Andermatt Swiss Alps seeks a Maintenance Technician for on-site work in Andermatt, CH. The role covers technical upkeep of residential and commercial properties, requiring German fluency and technical training.

This position supports the company's operations by ensuring the reliability and functionality of its diverse portfolio. The technician provides essential technical assistance and maintenance services across multiple property types, contributing directly to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and general maintenance on technical systems and equipment within apartments, restaurants, and commercial spaces.
• Diagnose technical faults and organize the necessary corrective measures.
• Supervise external contractors and monitor the quality of their work.
• Schedule and manage service visits as well as planned maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain outdoor grounds and facilities.
• Assist with logistical duties and support winter operations, such as snow clearance.

Requirements

• Finished technical vocational education, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Prior experience in technical maintenance, facility management, or building upkeep.
• Fluent German proficiency and basic English skills.
• Solid familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
• Availability to join an on-call rotation and work occasional weekends.
• Current residence in the Andermatt area or readiness to relocate.
• A valid Category B driving license.

Nice to have

• Experience using CAFM platforms like Abacus or Sambesi.
• Holding a forklift certification.
