Manager - Finance Optimization (FAAS)

Ernst & Young AG is seeking a Manager for Finance Optimization in Grand-Lancy/Geneva to lead digital finance transformation and support team expansion.

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice in Switzerland is experiencing strong growth, and this position plays a key role in expanding the Finance Optimization team. The successful candidate will lead client engagements and guide multidisciplinary teams through digital finance transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital finance transformation initiatives, including ERP/EPM implementations, automation projects, and finance data analytics workstreams.
• Evaluate and optimize end-to-end finance processes such as R2R, O2C, P2P, and FP&A, converting business needs into structured process designs and functional specifications.
• Mentor and guide project teams to foster effective collaboration and maintain high-quality standards.
• Design and facilitate client workshops while managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Oversee planning, governance, risk mitigation strategies, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with other EY service lines to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Lead business development efforts and contribute to proposal development.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and internal methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6–9 years of relevant experience in consulting or finance transformation.
• Experience leading ERP/EPM or finance transformation workstreams.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and ensure high‑quality client delivery.
• Fluency in English/German.

Nice to have

• A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• French language skills.
