RSM Switzerland SA seeks a Senior Audit Manager for a full-time, onsite role in Geneva or Lausanne. The position involves leading audits for national and international clients, managing client relationships, and supervising audit teams in compliance with Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP FER, and IFRS.

As an Audit Manager, the role involves overseeing a portfolio of national and international clients, leading audit engagements, and contributing to the growth of the Audit practice. The position requires managing client relationships, guiding audit teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audits of annual and consolidated financial statements for national and international clients, following Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP FER, and IFRS standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise audit projects, including risk assessments, budgeting, timelines, and quality reviews.
  • Manage special audits such as capital increases, company foundations, and donor audits.
  • Advise clients on accounting and reporting issues, offering practical and actionable solutions.
  • Handle day-to-day client interactions and ensure consistent, high-quality service.
  • Act as the main contact for assigned clients throughout the year.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members on complex assignments.
  • Support the growth and development of the Audit team at RSM Switzerland.
  • Apply and promote RSM’s methodology, tools, culture, and values, serving as a role model.

Requirements

  • Must hold a Swiss Licensed Audit Expert qualification.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in external audit, including 1 to 2 years in a managerial position, with experience serving both local and international clients.
  • Strong understanding of Swiss CO, IFRS, and/or Swiss GAAP FER.
  • Proven ability to independently analyze, document, and challenge complex or high-risk accounting issues.
  • Experience managing international client portfolios and leading audit teams across multiple complex engagements.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including supervising, coaching, and motivating audit teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in French and able to communicate confidently and professionally in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced audit environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience using data analytics tools.
