Audit Assistant Manager | 100 % | Geneva or Lausanne

RSM Switzerland SA seeks an Audit Assistant Manager for a full-time, onsite role in Geneva or Lausanne. The position involves leading or participating in audits of financial statements, managing client relationships, and contributing to team growth, with requirements including CPA certification and 4–6 years of audit experience.

This role supports the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements for national and international clients, including special audits such as capital increases and donor audits. It involves solving clients’ financial and systems challenges, managing client relationships, and contributing to the development of the Audit team. The candidate will act as a primary client contact and represent RSM’s values and culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in audits of annual and consolidated financial statements for national and international clients, following Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP FER, and IFRS standards
• Manage special audit projects including capital increases, company foundations, and donor audits
• Collaborate with clients to address financial accounting, process, and system-related challenges
• Support the growth and development of the Audit team at RSM Switzerland
• Handle client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients throughout the year
• Understand and apply RSM’s culture, team spirit, methodology, and tools
• Represent RSM as a brand ambassador and mentor for junior team members while upholding company values

Requirements

• Certified Accountant (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, or equivalent), either completed or in progress
• 4 to 6 years of audit experience with local and international clients, including expertise in Swiss CO, IFRS, and/or Swiss GAAP FER
• Proven ability to manage international client portfolios and lead audit teams on complex assignments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
• Fluency in French and the ability to communicate confidently and professionally in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard business applications

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German is considered a strong asset
• Experience with data analytics tools is beneficial
