Manager - Transfer Pricing (Financial Services) 80 – 100%

PwC seeks a Manager for Transfer Pricing in Financial Services to lead multi-country projects, optimize business models, and advise clients on global tax strategies in Zurich.

The company is looking for a professional to direct complex transfer pricing engagements for multinational clients in the financial sector. The role focuses on designing business models, implementing global strategies, and providing expert advice on tax governance and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate international transfer pricing assignments for multinational organizations.
• Create and refine business models while managing their global rollout.
• Define project scopes and deliver tailored solutions for prominent clients across various industries.
• Analyze global value chains and business structures to pinpoint client requirements and craft specific solutions.
• Guide clients on establishing and defending transfer pricing policies, governance frameworks, documentation, and technological tools.
• Assist with dispute resolution efforts and negotiate advance rulings with tax authorities.
• Drive business growth by securing new projects and expanding service offerings.
• Partner with internal teams and utilize the global transfer pricing network to provide effective solutions.
• Educate stakeholders on transfer pricing principles through training and guidance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Transfer Pricing, in a consultancy or Financial Services environment.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating multi-country transfer pricing projects.
• Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines and local tax regulations.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is strongly preferred, French would also be a big plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with data, conduct research, and draft industry analyses.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with TP software is a plus.
• Leadership capability and willingness to take responsibility for teams or areas of expertise.
• Result-oriented mindset with adaptability and persistence in complex situations.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German is strongly preferred.
• French language skills would also be a big plus.
• Experience with TP software is a plus.
