This internship involves conducting research on an existing pilot-scale ultra-filtration system within Eawag’s experimental facilities. The primary objective is to refine operational methods that balance long-term membrane performance with the maintenance of stable biofilm structures, contributing to the development of robust technologies for resource-limited contexts.
Responsibilities
- Execute experiments on the pilot ultra-filtration unit using various operational approaches.
- Track essential metrics such as permeate flux, transmembrane pressure, and water quality indicators.
