This position oversees apparel merchandising across the EMEA region, with a focus on driving direct-to-consumer success, repositioning the brand toward contemporary and streetwear styles, and expanding wholesale presence across various account tiers. The role is responsible for delivering consumer-focused product assortments, achieving strong commercial outcomes, and building a high-performing team aligned with regional priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage premium direct-to-consumer assortment strategies, enhance product narratives, and collaborate with visual merchandising and retail teams to ensure top-tier execution.
- Elevate the brand's streetwear relevance and contemporary appeal by creating consumer-centric collections, leading capsule launches and collaborations, and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Define and execute tiered assortment strategies for Tier 0-3 wholesale accounts, differentiating products by distribution channel while balancing premium positioning with scalable growth.
- Adapt global strategies to the EMEA market by establishing line architecture, pricing models, and go-to-market plans, providing clear tools and product stories to support sales.
- Monitor sell-in, sell-out, and margin performance, adjusting in-season strategies and aligning forecasts to meet business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team, setting clear expectations, aligning goals with regional planning, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Serve as the liaison between global and EMEA teams, collaborating with planning, sales, marketing, and visual merchandising to leverage consumer and marketplace insights.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in direct-to-consumer merchandising.
- Deep understanding of streetwear and contemporary apparel trends.
- Experience working within wholesale apparel consumer environments.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and lead teams effectively.
- Track record of driving key performance indicators, including revenue, margin, sell-through rates, direct-to-consumer full-price performance, marketplace expansion, go-to-market execution, and team development.
