The company seeks a Night Auditor for river cruise operations in Zug. This full-time remote role focuses on front desk duties, financial settlements, and guest relations aboard international vessels.
This position sits within the Reception and Guest Relation team on river cruise ships, where English serves as the primary working language. The role is critical for maintaining smooth daily operations and ensuring a high standard of service for passengers during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to ISM safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and internal company policies.
- Resolve guest issues promptly to ensure high levels of passenger satisfaction.
- Conduct daily financial reconciliations with restaurant staff and bar personnel.
- Process cash transactions, issue invoices, and verify delivery receipts.
- Manage miscellaneous charges for guests and crew, including communication fees and wake-up calls.
- Safeguard passenger passports, maintain secure logs, and keep the front desk and back office areas tidy.
- Prepare passenger landing documentation as needed.
- Assist the Chief Purser and Crew Purser with any additional administrative tasks or paperwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front desk operations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with office software.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional foreign languages is beneficial.
