Michael Page is hiring a Junior Assembly Operator for a fixed-term role in Lausanne. The position involves assembling precision mechanical components and performing soldering tasks in a quality-focused industrial setting.

The company is an international industrial manufacturer specializing in high-precision technical products. This role supports a structured production environment that prioritizes strict quality standards and meticulous assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Construct precision mechanical sub-assemblies by strictly following detailed work instructions.
• Interpret and execute assembly and control procedures accurately.
• Carry out manual technical tasks, including mechanical assembly and simple fitting.
• Solder cable connectors in compliance with established standards.
• Execute industrial bonding operations while adhering to specified timeframes and methods.
• Position and set simple mechanical components.
• Conduct visual inspections to verify the conformity of assembled parts.
• Detect and report any non-conformities or malfunctions immediately.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized in line with 5S principles.
• Collaborate closely with the technical reference person and the production team leader.

Requirements

• Possess training or prior experience in microtechnology, mechanics, or a related field.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity and a strong aptitude for precision work.
• Exhibit a meticulous, patient, and rigorous work style.
• Be able to follow written procedures and adhere to quality standards.
• Show reliability, punctuality, and commitment, even under high workload conditions.
• Display team spirit and maintain clear communication with technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an industrial environment or in assembly is appreciated.
