This position sits within the production team in Oerlikon, focusing on the assembly, calibration, and testing of high-precision sensors. The company develops and manufactures force/torque sensors specifically designed for robotics and automation sectors.
Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing and assembly tasks in strict adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
- Assemble and verify the functionality of both mechanical and electronic sensor components.
- Run and upkeep production machinery and testing devices.
- Conduct inspections, calibrations, and quality assurance checks.
- Assist in enhancing manufacturing and assembly workflows.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workstations in optimal working order.
Requirements
- Completion of an apprenticeship as a Polymechaniker EFZ, Elektroniker, Mechatroniker, or comparable technical qualification.
- Practical experience in mechanical assembly and electronics production.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Fluent command of the English language.
