Junior Manufacturing Technician

Bota Systems AG seeks a Junior Manufacturing Technician in Zürich to assemble, calibrate, and test high-precision force/torque sensors for robotics applications.

This position sits within the production team in Oerlikon, focusing on the assembly, calibration, and testing of high-precision sensors. The company develops and manufactures force/torque sensors specifically designed for robotics and automation sectors.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing and assembly tasks in strict adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
• Assemble and verify the functionality of both mechanical and electronic sensor components.
• Run and upkeep production machinery and testing devices.
• Conduct inspections, calibrations, and quality assurance checks.
• Assist in enhancing manufacturing and assembly workflows.
• Keep tools, equipment, and workstations in optimal working order.

Requirements

• Completion of an apprenticeship as a Polymechaniker EFZ, Elektroniker, Mechatroniker, or comparable technical qualification.
• Practical experience in mechanical assembly and electronics production.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Fluent command of the English language.
