SR Technics in Zürich seeks a Junior Engine Mechanic to support the disassembly and assembly of aircraft engines. The role requires technical precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a 2-shift system.
This position focuses on the hands-on maintenance of aircraft power units. The successful candidate will assist in taking apart and putting together engine modules on dedicated production lines, ensuring that every step meets strict technical and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the dismantling and reassembly of aircraft engines or specific modules on engine lines, including GTF, LEAP, PW4000, and CFM56 types.
- Complete all technical and administrative tasks according to relevant manuals and regulations.
- Ensure work is delivered on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
- Utilize Lean methodology to support ongoing process improvements.
- Prioritize quality, safety, and environmental responsibility in daily operations.
- Demonstrate independence, efficiency, and cost-awareness in task execution.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, automotive mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, or in a similar highly mechanical/technical field.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Independent, precise, and responsible work ethic.
- High sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- Good English skills (minimum B1).
- Able to work in a 2-shift system.

- German speaking skills.
