Engine Technician

Jet Aviation seeks an Engine Technician in Basel to maintain aircraft engines and APUs, ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

This position focuses on the upkeep of fleet engines within a dynamic aviation setting. The technician works with advanced aircraft, ensuring that all mechanical components meet high-performance and safety benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Execute both standard and complex maintenance procedures, such as replacing QEC/LRU components, conducting borescope checks, performing assembly and disassembly, and overhauling hot sections for engines and APUs.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation for all maintenance activities to guarantee adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
• Submit necessary paperwork promptly and professionally, aligning with aviation industry protocols.
• Apply 5S principles to keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are stored correctly, maintained properly, and utilized in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• Completion of a mechanical apprenticeship in machining, automotive, or motorbike sectors.
• A strong commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• A proactive attitude toward acquiring new knowledge and skills.
• A collaborative spirit with a willingness to support colleagues.

Nice to have

• Over ten years of experience in the Engine MRO sector.
• Holding an S or B1 maintenance license.
• Fluency in English, German, or French.
