Quality Inspector

SR Technics in Zürich seeks a Quality Inspector to assess aircraft engine assemblies, manage repair orders, and apply Lean Six Sigma principles within a dynamic global environment.

This position focuses on the technical inspection and evaluation of aircraft engine assemblies, ensuring all work aligns with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and engineering directives. The role operates within a fast-paced, international organization where independent decision-making and economic efficiency are valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled technical inspections and assessments of aircraft engine assemblies in strict accordance with OEM standards and engineering orders.
• Generate repair orders for engines, specific modules, and individual components.
• Verify modifications executed on single parts and larger assemblies to ensure compliance.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma practices, including Lean Events, 5S organization, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Operate autonomously while maintaining a focus on cost-effective and economical actions.

Requirements

• Completion of vocational training, preferably as a polymechanic, automotive mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, or in a comparable highly technical field.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Flexibility to work within a two-shift rotation system.

Nice to have

• Prior work experience in the Aviation or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) sector.
• Familiarity with SAP systems.
• Ability to communicate in German.
