Quality and Incoming Technician

Wingtra 2 seeks a Quality and Incoming Technician in Zürich for a full-time mid-level role. The position involves inspecting incoming materials, managing warehouse layout, and supporting logistics to ensure production quality and efficiency.

Wingtra 2 is a venture-backed robotics scaleup founded at ETH Zurich, aiming to digitize the world with aerial robots. This role supports the company's mission by ensuring incoming materials meet strict quality standards, enabling efficient production and reliable data solutions for diverse industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed technical and visual checks on incoming parts and materials to confirm they match blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage internal distribution of materials to guarantee production lines and departments receive the right components promptly.
• Develop and maintain a warehouse layout that optimizes space, ensures safety, and enhances picking efficiency.
• Work with the logistics team during busy periods to assist with order packing, verification, and shipment documentation.

Requirements

• Hold a certificate of apprenticeship (EFZ) in a technical discipline.
• Be able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing specifications, and use precise measuring and testing tools.
• Demonstrate an exact and independent workstyle.
• Show high quality awareness.
• Possess very good English skills, both spoken and written (B2 or better).
• Be flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Be reliable and open-minded.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or automotive environments.
• At least 2 years of working experience in quality control.
• Experience as a user of ERP systems.
• Fluent in German.
