Inspector, Assoc

Curtiss Wright Antriebstechnik GmbH seeks a Mid-level Inspector, Assoc in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland, to handle incoming goods inspection, supplier quality management, and testing of electronic and mechanical assemblies.

Based at the Neuhausen am Rheinfall site, this position supports the company's mission to deliver high-performance electromechanical drive systems. The role focuses on ensuring component quality through rigorous inspection processes, supplier collaboration, and testing to maintain efficiency, precision, and reliability in final products.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming electronic and mechanical components, with a primary emphasis on electronic assemblies.
• Conduct visual checks in line with IPC standards.
• Develop and update incoming inspection procedures.
• Assess initial sample documentation during product release phases.
• Manage supplier complaints using the 8D approach.
• Partner with quality and procurement teams to develop suppliers.
• Assist in and carry out supplier audits.
• Test mechanical parts using standard testing tools.
• Receive training on 3D coordinate measuring systems, specifically ZEISS equipment.

Requirements

• Vocational qualification in electronics assembly or electronic component testing.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience.
• Familiarity with the 8D complaint resolution method.
• Foundational understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Native-level German proficiency.
• Competent English skills are preferred.

• Holding an IPC-A-610 certification.
