Inspector Quality Assurance

AMAC Aerospace seeks a Mid-level Quality Inspector in Basel for production, maintenance, and design operations. The role involves internal auditing, regulatory compliance, and supporting quality management systems.

The company is looking for a Quality Inspector to serve within its Production, Maintenance, Design, and CAMO organizations. In addition to standard inspection duties, the position includes responsibilities as an Internal Quality Auditor, ensuring that all operational activities align with established standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks strictly following AMAC’s operational procedures, including DOE, POE, MOE, and CAME specifications.
• Maintain clear communication channels between the Quality Assurance team, Maintenance, and Production departments.
• Coordinate with external authorities during audits and develop necessary checklists to ensure readiness.
• Update and review key documentation such as Organisation Expositions, Capability Lists, handbooks, and technical instructions.
• Report regularly on the current status of quality metrics and overall compliance.
• Conduct internal training sessions and briefings on company procedures and technical topics.
• Assist the Maintenance, Production, Design, and CAMO teams with maintenance licence applications, extensions, and internal authorizations.
• Support the QA Manager and Director with administrative tasks related to approval certificates, including issuance, renewal, and modifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the aviation sector.
• Background in quality assurance or quality inspection roles.
• Experience conducting internal or external audits.
• Strong understanding of EASA Regulations, specifically Part 145, Part M-CAMO, and Part 21 Subpart G-J, along with relevant guidance materials.
• Ability to draft and maintain handbooks, procedures, technical instructions, and audit reports.
• Holding an Aircraft Maintenance Licence is preferred.
