Jet Aviation seeks an Electro Technician for late shifts in Basel to assemble electrical systems and furniture for aircraft interiors, requiring an electrical background and precision.
This position sits within the Cabinet and Electro Shops, where the team manufactures lightweight, high-quality furniture for aircraft cabins. The technician is responsible for assembling and installing electrical wiring looms and harnesses into custom-built interior monuments, supporting manufacturing and system integration in modern workshops.
Responsibilities
- Integrates water-system tubes, components, and units into furniture pieces based on technical drawings and instructions.
- Conducts leak checks and pressure tests on integrated systems to ensure integrity.
- Cuts various materials to precise dimensions using 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Assembles small brackets, sub-assemblies, and complete units.
- Carries out basic preventive maintenance on conventional stationary machinery.
- Supports team leads in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship, possession of a basic electrical diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical and manufacturing drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and standard measuring tools.
- English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level for both written and spoken communication.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and strict adherence to quality standards.

- Prior experience working with aerospace materials and their associated tools.
