This position focuses on studying individual and population-level variations in beech trees and their environmental interactions. The role combines field research, data analysis, and teaching duties within a leading academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform spatial sampling and measurement campaigns to gather data on beech trees.
- Utilize remote sensing techniques and computational methods to analyze population-level differences.
- Deliver teaching sessions as part of the academic program.
- Engage in group activities and other assigned tasks.
- Complete necessary coursework to fulfill degree requirements.
Requirements
- Hold a Master of Science (MSc) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate understanding of spatial ecology, spatial genetics, ecological genomics, or similar disciplines.
- Show experience in collecting or processing spatial and remote sensing data.
- Have practical background in fieldwork or common garden experiments.
- Be proficient in data analysis using open and reproducible methodologies.
