This position is responsible for the efficient delivery of traction projects through technical excellence and close collaboration. The engineer reports directly to the Team Leader Power Electronics Engineering and plays a key role in ensuring product quality and seamless system integration.
Responsibilities
- Design traction power electronics converters and energy storage systems (ESS) for smooth vehicle integration.
- Manage the specification, execution, analysis, and documentation of Type and Qualification tests.
- Build deep expertise in core power engineering to provide technical guidance to colleagues.
- Drive the evolution of traction product families by implementing standardization and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Qualified Power Electronics or Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power electronics design.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with traction converters and energy storage systems.
- German language skills.
