Product Manager

VAT Vakuumventile AG seeks a Product Manager for its Global Services Business Unit in Haag, CH. The role focuses on international markets, key customers, and product lifecycle management.

This position supports the Global Services Business Unit (GSE) by concentrating on specific international markets, designated key customers, and related product families. The role is responsible for steering the product portfolio across its entire life cycle, from initial introduction through to sustainment and eventual phase-out. A core objective is to convert market and customer needs into effective product and customer strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, commercial, and operational support to sales and service teams.
• Create service product and customer strategies informed by market and competitive analysis.
• Formulate business plans aligned with growth strategies and market introduction plans.
• Recognize customer technical roadmaps and lead corresponding product development efforts.
• Oversee sales and profitability goals for specific product families, assigned customers, and regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sciences or engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
• Additional degree in economics or marketing, or a proven track record in a commercial role.
• Experience in product management within a high-tech international setting, ideally in the vacuum industry or critical component B2B business.
• Fluent written and spoken business English.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to build customer trust and loyalty.
• Ability to provide fact-driven solutions and translate market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience preferably in the aftermarket.
• Experience preferably in the vacuum industry or critical component B2B business.
