Product Manager Mobile e-Power Systems (m/w/d)

ABB seeks a Senior Product Manager for Mobile e-Power Systems in Untersiggenthal, CH. The role oversees the global portfolio strategy, development, and lifecycle management of electrification technologies.

Reporting to the Global Head of Mobile e-Power, this position is tasked with steering the strategic direction, commercialization, and end-to-end lifecycle management of ABB’s Mobile e-Power Systems portfolio. The incumbent will align product offerings with market demands to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the global portfolio of Mobile e-Power Systems, encompassing power converters, electric traction motors, battery energy storage, power distribution, and control systems.
• Develop and execute portfolio strategies while supporting major electrification initiatives and converting market insights into viable product solutions.
• Conduct market intelligence to identify competitive gaps and uncover new business opportunities.
• Define technical and market specifications, establish business plans, and create roadmaps to maximize product value.
• Manage the full lifecycle of product offerings, including setting performance metrics and deciding on obsolescence.
• Set performance targets, monitor costs, and collaborate with operations to enhance competitiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in product management, systems engineering, business development, or application engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electrified powertrains, power electronics, electric drives, battery systems, charging infrastructure, or energy storage.
• Strong grasp of product lifecycle management, portfolio strategy, and business planning processes.
• Demonstrated success working in cross-functional, global, and multicultural teams.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
