This position provides an early-career engineer with the chance to engage in product management, lifecycle oversight, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on guiding the surge arrester product line from development through to market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the surge arrester product range, ensuring continuous improvement and lifecycle management.
- Convert customer feedback, market insights, and regulatory demands into clear product specifications.
- Participate in innovation initiatives, product development cycles, and strategic roadmap planning.
- Perform market analysis and competitor benchmarking to spot emerging trends and opportunities.
- Manage technical documentation, product data integrity, and marketing collateral.
- Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate product launches, modifications, and customer inquiries.
- Assist with sustainability efforts, compliance checks, and managing product end-of-life processes.
- Drive trade compliance tasks, including product classification, customs data upkeep, and export control adherence.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Up to three years of professional experience, or initial training gained via internships, apprenticeships, or graduate schemes.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
- Solid analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Capacity to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively within cross-functional groups.
- Excellent communication capabilities and a proactive, customer-oriented approach.
