Production Manager

The company seeks a Senior Production Manager in Cressier, CH, to lead the production department, oversee manufacturing processes, and drive operational efficiency for pump and part production.

The company is looking for a Senior Production Manager to take charge of the production department, which covers machining, assembly, metalwork, methods, maintenance, and workshop planning. The role focuses on ensuring the timely delivery of pumps and parts while maintaining quality standards, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening collaboration with global production sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities, including machining, assembly, metalwork, methods, maintenance, and workshop planning.
• Track, review, and monitor key production metrics to ensure performance targets are met.
• Work closely with the Technical Department and project managers to align production goals.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Quality Department to maintain high product quality standards.
• Manage and optimize production costs at the Cressier site.
• Enforce safety rules and environmental standards on-site.
• Contribute to product strategy development and adjust operations accordingly.
• Define the production strategy and recommend related investments.
• Maintain relationships with critical suppliers.
• Attend Management Team meetings to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within one-unit or small-batch production environments.
• Solid understanding of machining techniques, processes, and tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and production management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Experience managing projects successfully.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic financial knowledge.
• Fluency in French and English; German proficiency is a strong asset.
