This role leads production teams in manufacturing precision products with high quality and efficiency. It involves applying Lean methodologies to improve processes and directly contributes to strategic decisions under senior management oversight.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to build a high-performing, collaborative work environment
- Oversee the efficient, reliable, and high-quality production of precision products
- Implement continuous improvement efforts using Lean methods such as 5S and Toyota Production System to boost productivity and cut waste
- Plan and manage production schedules, workforce allocation, and machine usage
- Track and enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and investment planning
- Optimize material and resource use in production
- Work with engineering, supply chain, and other departments to meet shared objectives
- Lead production and optimization projects
- Report to senior management and participate in strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree
- Demonstrated experience in complex manufacturing settings, preferably in small to medium-sized enterprises
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Native-level Italian and business-fluent English
