Production Supervisor

Escatec Switzerland AG seeks a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams, ensure quality output, and drive operational efficiency in an on-site role.

The company is looking for a supervisor to guide a production team in meeting key performance indicators and customer demands. This position focuses on overseeing daily operations, managing resources, and ensuring that production targets are achieved through effective leadership and adherence to standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct a production team to fulfill customer orders, clear any backlog, and adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Oversee operators, material handlers, and line leaders to ensure high levels of quantity and quality.
• Track daily attendance, address employee concerns, manage work-in-progress inventory, and record output and efficiency metrics.
• Optimize resource usage to meet company goals, boost productivity, and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct morning briefings or GYAT meetings to align the team with production targets.
• Collaborate with supporting groups and business divisions to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Operate within a matrix structure, supporting MyCom needs and objectives.
• Ensure daily active SFC records are closed promptly and reduce scrap costs.
• Maximize machine utilization according to standard times and the production master plan.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards to promote a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in electronics or plastic injection molding.
• Strong leadership capabilities and effective communication skills.
• At least one year of computer literacy.
• Diploma in electronics or a related field.
