The company seeks a senior Program Manager to lead large-scale SAP transformation programs across finance, supply chain, and operations, ensuring successful delivery and value realization within a global IT organization.
This position drives the execution of critical enterprise transformation initiatives, primarily large-scale SAP programs that support core business processes in finance, supply chain, and operations. The role operates within a global IT department dedicated to turning innovation into scalable, business-relevant solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manages strategic programs from start to finish, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery and value realization.
- Creates and chairs governance structures with senior business and IT leaders to maintain transparency, alignment, and effective decision-making.
- Guides day-to-day execution, proactively addressing issues and providing clarity in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Leads cross-functional, multi-vendor teams across different regions, promoting collaboration and shared accountability.
- Aligns stakeholders and ensures delivered solutions are sustainably integrated into the organization.
- Promotes a structured approach to risk, quality, and change management to ensure stability and long-term value creation.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise programs end-to-end, with at least 7 years in program or project management.
- Hands-on experience delivering SAP implementations or transformations across the full lifecycle, including planning, go-live, and hypercare.
- Strong experience managing multi-vendor, cross-functional teams across international environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior executives.
- Working proficiency in both English and German.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe; SAP or ITIL certifications are an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
