Project Manager - Data / AI

Elca Informatik AG seeks a Senior Project Manager for Data/AI in Pully. The role requires 8+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, and Databricks, plus fluent French and English.

This position focuses on delivering business value through advanced Data and AI solutions by collaborating closely with internal teams, customers, and offshore centers. The manager acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT, building strong relationships at various levels to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of Data AI solutions that create tangible business value while fostering a cohesive project team.
• Oversee project scope, quality, timelines, and client expectations to ensure high satisfaction and advocacy.
• Partner with Sales and Data AI Architects to develop competitive and winning proposals.
• Proactively identify new opportunities to address and solve client challenges.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a university such as ETH/EPFL or an equivalent institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience implementing Data AI solutions using Azure, AWS, or Databricks.
• Demonstrated ability to distinguish between project management approaches for data initiatives versus custom software or system integration.
• Fluent proficiency in both French and English.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and high emotional intelligence.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the Romandie region two days per week.

Nice to have

• Previous consulting experience within the Romandie region.
• Domain expertise or business knowledge in one of the company’s primary industries.
• Basic proficiency in German.
