Demaurex SA seeks a Senior Project Manager in Altendorf to lead the delivery of storage and conveyor systems for the food industry, overseeing technical, commercial, and scheduling aspects from start to finish.
This position serves as the central figure for project execution within the food sector, managing storage and conveyor solutions. The role ensures that projects move smoothly from initial implementation through to final handover, acting as the primary liaison between the client, internal teams, and external partners while representing the company's interests.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical, commercial, and timeline aspects of storage and conveyor projects until completion.
- Collaborate closely with the sales department during the final stages of the project.
- Serve as the main contact point for customers, internal teams, partners, and external contractors, including on-site management.
- Develop technical specifications, requirement documents, and necessary project documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate assembly, commissioning, start-up procedures, test runs, and final acceptance.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- A technical degree in mechanical engineering or electrical/automation engineering, complemented by further qualifications as a technician HF or engineer FH.
- Proven experience in project management and leading project teams.
- Several years of experience in international plant engineering projects, with a preference for candidates from the food industry.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
- A high level of personal accountability and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland and internationally.
