Stadlerrail seeks a Mid-level QA Engineer in Wallisellen to manage ATS testing, defect triage, and release quality within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform and upkeep functional, smoke, regression, and automated tests for ATS updates, stories, and defects.
- Manage the ATS regression suite and facilitate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and lab environments.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and triage defects, offering guidance on severity, impact, and release strategies.
- Ensure release readiness by validating scope, assessing risks, conducting pre- and post-release checks, and advising on Go/No-Go decisions.
- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and testing teams to clarify requirements, verify fixes, and track quality metrics.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in QA and software testing, including functional analysis, defect management, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, test design, and quality assurance processes.
- Hands-on experience with test management, defect tracking, automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Ability to assess risks, prioritize defects, communicate with stakeholders, and collaborate across functions.
Nice to have
- Experience in the railway sector, particularly with ATS/TMS systems, V-model processes, and safety-critical standards such as EN 50128 and SIL.
