Quality Assurance Analyst, Berlin

Airapps seeks a mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst in Zürich to ensure the quality and usability of mobile and web applications. The role involves manual testing, bug reporting, and collaboration with product and development teams.

This position focuses on maintaining high standards for mobile and web applications by validating features and ensuring reliability. The analyst will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences through structured testing and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out smoke and regression tests to verify new releases and feature updates.
• Manually test web and mobile applications to ensure functionality.
• Log and report bugs with clear, accurate details for development teams.
• Assist in bug triage by coordinating with developers and product teams.
• Manage and track test cases using tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
• Use Jira or Asana to record issues and track project progress.
• Test application functionality across various browsers and mobile devices.
• Utilize browser developer tools to inspect elements and support troubleshooting.
• Help enhance QA processes and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Approximately 1–3 years of experience in manual software testing or a similar QA role.
• Strong grasp of testing methods including smoke, regression, and structured bug reporting.
• Experience with at least one test management tool such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
• Experience testing applications across different browsers and mobile devices.
• Basic knowledge of browser developer tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
