As a Quant Developer at Mathrix, you will design and implement software and models that support automated trading strategies. The position combines technical development with practical problem-solving, requiring collaboration with top traders and senior experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions in a demanding, continuous-operation environment.
Responsibilities
- Create software and models to support automated trading systems
- Develop code and systems capable of managing complex data and processes
- Conduct research, analyze projects, ask critical questions, perform backtesting, and implement solutions
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent, with outstanding academic results
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools and SSH
- Familiarity with version control using git
- Attention to detail and adherence to strict coding standards to reduce errors
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a team
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to handle stress in a fast-paced setting
