Tsmg seeks a Remote Vehicle Supervisor / Teleoperator in Bern, CH, for part-time contract work. The role involves on-site oversight of autonomous delivery vehicles twice weekly, requiring strong German, basic English or French, and familiarity with Bern’s urban environment.
This position supports autonomous delivery operations in Bern by remotely supervising vehicle movements from the company’s office. The supervisor ensures safe and compliant performance during scheduled deliveries, with potential for increased hours as the project grows. It is suited for tech-savvy, reliable individuals familiar with the local area.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise autonomous delivery vehicles remotely during scheduled operations
- Ensure vehicles operate safely and in compliance with regulations during active hours
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any unexpected events or required interventions
- Coordinate with internal teams (French/English) and customer teams (mainly German-speaking)
- Be available within a 45-minute window before deliveries, adapting to morning or late afternoon schedules
Requirements
- Experience in remote supervision or teleoperation is beneficial
- Solid knowledge of Bern’s streets and surrounding areas
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use monitoring software
- Strong German language proficiency
- Basic proficiency in English or French
- Flexible availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for variable delivery windows
- Must be present on-site at the office in Bern during vehicle operations
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment
- No weekend work is required
