Abbott seeks a Sales & Administration Assistant in Baar to support the Diabetes Core division's leadership with sales coordination, compliance, and administrative duties.
Based in Baar, Switzerland, this mid-level position serves as a key support function for the General Manager of ACH and the Sales Manager for Switzerland within the Diabetes Core division. The role ensures that sales activities run smoothly while maintaining strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative and sales coordination tasks for the General Manager ACH and Sales Manager CH.
- Ensure all operational activities align with established quality system protocols.
- Monitor and report on the sales budget for the designated territory.
- Maintain customer data within the CRM system and conduct area-specific analyses.
- Generate customer lists and statistical reports to aid in segmentation and targeting strategies.
- Schedule, document, and track sales meetings and training sessions.
- Draft and file contracts and sponsorship agreements in line with compliance rules.
- Handle and route inquiries received from healthcare professionals and partners.
- Coordinate patient training initiatives and report key performance indicators alongside the sales quotation system.
- Create, manage, and accrue purchase orders for management projects.
- Oversee the ordering, tracking, and inventory control of product samples.
- Assist leadership with calendar management, expense reports, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare or update strategic presentations using input from the General Manager ACH.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
- Provide marketing support, including the organization of congresses and corporate events.
Requirements
- Completion of a commercial apprenticeship.
- Four to five years of relevant professional experience.
- Practical understanding of administrative functions within sales and marketing contexts.
- Strong organizational abilities with a reliable, independent work style.
- Familiarity with the medical device sector and local market dynamics.
- Ability to maintain composure and clarity during busy periods.
Nice to have
- Fluency in German, French, English, and Italian.
- Proficiency in standard office software suites.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with external stakeholders and internal teams.
- Experience with CRM, accounting, and ordering software platforms.
