SAP S/4HANA Business Systems Analyst - Supply Chain

Idorsia seeks a Mid-level SAP S/4HANA Business Systems Analyst for its Global Information Systems team in Allschwil. The role bridges business needs and IT solutions to support global supply chain operations.

This position sits within the Global Information Systems (GIS) team, where the incumbent will help define the digital trajectory of the worldwide Supply Chain. Acting as the crucial interface between business units and IT, the analyst translates operational requirements into robust system solutions, directly contributing to the reliable delivery of medicines to patients globally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Configure, implement, test, and optimize Supply Chain processes and system functionalities.
• Oversee system releases, upgrades, vendor management, validation tasks, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate fixes with IT and vendor teams.
• Maintain compliance with CSV standards, IT protocols, and Quality System documentation.
• Create training resources, conduct end-user sessions, and encourage system adoption.
• Participate in system strategy discussions, digitalization projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead or assist in small-scale business and system implementation projects.

Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of professional experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven experience supporting Supply Chain processes and SAP S/4HANA, specifically MM, IM, and LE modules.
• Knowledge of global trade compliance and Supply Chain master data management.
• Experience managing SaaS applications, system releases, testing procedures, and user training.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with QM and SD modules.
• Proficiency in German and/or French.
