SimplyVision GmbH seeks a Mid-level Consultant for SCCM, Intune, and software packaging. The role focuses on application virtualization, deployment automation, and endpoint management configuration for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
Package and virtualize custom applications using MSI, MSIX, and silent installation methods from start to finish.
Tailor and standardize software installers to enable quiet, automated distribution within large-scale IT environments.
Diagnose and fix intricate deployment problems, such as driver integration conflicts, registry errors, and DLL issues.
Configure and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) alongside Microsoft Intune.
Develop, validate, and roll out application packages and software update campaigns.
Handle co-management setups, managing the transition or hybrid operation between SCCM and Intune/Microsoft 365 Defender.
Draft advanced PowerShell scripts and PSAppDeployToolkit wrappers to streamline packaging tasks and post-install configurations.
Embed custom automation scripts into contemporary deployment pipelines.
Evaluate software dependencies, licensing rules, and security compliance before any deployment occurs.
Work with global Infrastructure, Security, and Desktop Engineering groups to establish enterprise deployment standards.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and prepare rollback strategies for critical software releases.
Requirements
Possess 3 to 5+ years of practical experience in enterprise endpoint management and software distribution.
Demonstrate solid expertise in MSI, MST transforms, and MSIX technologies.
Show advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
Hold a strong grasp of software architecture, system dependencies, registry modifications, and Windows 10/11/Server internals.
Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
Apply a strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot complex packaging and installation challenges.
Document processes, packaging guidelines, and deployment procedures with clarity.
