isolutions seeks a Workplace Engineer to manage and support Microsoft cloud platforms, providing technical assistance and ensuring smooth operation of customer environments in a hybrid role based in Switzerland.
This position focuses on the design, configuration, and ongoing support of cloud-based workplace solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. The engineer will bridge customer infrastructure with Microsoft Cloud Services, ensuring stability and performance while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver second and third-tier technical support for client systems.
- Oversee the setup and daily operation of Cloud Workplace setups, including Windows 11, Autopilot, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
- Investigate, fix, and record user-reported problems.
- Develop and update user guides, checklists, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Coordinate with external vendors to handle changes, incidents, and problem management.
- Conduct training sessions for both internal staff and external clients.
Requirements
- Completion of vocational training in IT or Computer Science.
- Professional background as a Systems Engineer.
- Practical experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Intune.
- Proficiency in Intune and software packaging techniques.
- Strong command of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and PowerShell.
- Fluent proficiency in German.
- Competent English language skills.
Nice to have
- A higher education degree such as HF/FH or an equivalent qualification.
- Background in Cloud Engineering within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Ability to communicate in French and/or Italian.
