(Senior) Consultant - Business Consulting (Platform experience)

EY seeks a Senior Consultant for Business Consulting in Zürich to support platform implementation projects for financial services clients, leveraging expertise in tools like Aladdin or Temenos.

The company invites professionals with roughly two to five years of experience to join its Business Consulting division. This position focuses on advancing the financial services sector by guiding clients through complex platform transitions and strategic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in platform implementation projects for major financial services systems like Aladdin, SimCorp, Temenos, or Avaloq, covering configuration, testing, and rollout phases.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to capture, define, and document both business and technical needs.
• Partner with technology and development teams to convert business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Support agile product delivery activities, such as print planning and backlog grooming.
• Design and deliver platform-enabled operating models that improve efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize EY methodologies and accelerators to ensure successful integration, adoption, and change management.
• Present insights and recommendations to clients in a structured, data-driven, and compelling manner.
• Help build client relationships and support account development.

Requirements

• Ideally 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial services or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorp, Temenos, or Avaloq.
• Background in requirements engineering, including stakeholder interviews, documentation, and validation.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivation to grow and take initiative.
• Strong academic background from a recognized university or university of applied sciences.
• Fluency in English; German strongly preferred.
