The company seeks a Senior Consultant for its EY Parthenon Strategy & Execution practice in Geneva. The role focuses on IT-related strategy, M&A due diligence, and integration projects for corporate clients.
This position sits within the EY Parthenon practice, where the team supports clients on corporate strategy, capital allocation, and mergers and acquisitions. The group delivers strategic consulting across the full transaction lifecycle, covering integrations, separations, transformations, and IT due diligence through cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Address technology-focused strategy and M&A topics, including IT due diligence and value creation initiatives.
- Design IT operating models, create integration and separation blueprints, and establish IT TSA agreements.
- Develop day-1 and day-100 execution plans alongside financial assessments and transformation recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement client recommendations and achieve project objectives.
- Support business development efforts and participate in recruitment activities.
- Cultivate professional relationships with clients at various organizational levels.
Requirements
- Hold a completed degree in business or a STEM field.
- Possess a minimum of one year of full-time professional experience in industry or consulting after graduation.
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, sharp analytical thinking, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Show solid project management expertise, a client-focused mindset, and readiness to travel to client locations.
- Work effectively as a team player, proactively driving solutions within diverse, cross-functional, and international teams.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the IT M&A deal lifecycle.
- Fluency in German, French, and/or Italian.
- A proactive attitude toward learning and developing new skills.
