Senior Consultant - EY Parthenon - Strategy & Execution

Ernst & Young AG seeks a Senior Consultant for its EY Parthenon Strategy & Execution team in Geneva. The role focuses on corporate strategy, M&A transactions, and operational integration for global clients.

This position sits within the EY Parthenon practice, specifically the Strategy & Execution group. The primary purpose is to deliver strategic consulting services throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, assisting clients with complex corporate strategy, capital allocation decisions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams on corporate restructuring, carve-outs, and integration projects.
• Manage strategic and transactional tasks including due diligence, synergy assessment, and exit readiness.
• Design operating models and blueprints for integration or separation processes.
• Analyze data and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders and team members.
• Support the planning and execution of deal lifecycle activities alongside the broader project team.
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

Requirements

• A completed degree in business or a STEM field.
• Minimum of three years of full-time professional experience in industry or consulting after graduation.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities combined with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English.
• Strong project management expertise, a client-focused mindset, and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams to drive solutions.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in M&A deal lifecycle areas such as Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, HR, or performance improvement.
• Fluency in German, French, or Italian in addition to English.
• A proactive attitude toward learning and developing new competencies.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI models, particularly regarding research and data analysis applications.
