Senior Frontend (React) Developer – Financial Platforms 80 - 100% (f/m/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start for 6 months with possible extension)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Partner closely with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Deliver high-quality, production-grade React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications.
• Address advanced frontend challenges such as state management, performance optimization, and integration with distributed backend systems.
• Proactively refactor and modernize existing codebases where required.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in both development and production environments.
• Contribute actively in an agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong focus on React at enterprise scale.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, tools, and frameworks (React, Node.js, build tooling).
• Proven experience working with design systems and large, shared component libraries.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence technical direction.
• Proven ability to thrive in agile, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to API security, OAuth2, and related standards.
