Frontend Developer (Angular)

Crypto Finance is hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to build scalable Angular applications in Zürich. The role focuses on high-quality UI development, technical leadership, and collaborative engineering within a fast-paced fintech environment.

The company seeks a Senior Frontend Developer to take ownership of product development within a team dedicated to modern Angular solutions. The position emphasizes creating usable, performant, and maintainable code while allowing the engineer to shape the architecture and user experience of complex web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex frontend interfaces using Angular versions 22 and above.
• Create reusable, scalable UI components that adhere to established design library standards.
• Utilize Angular Material to ensure consistent and intuitive visual interactions.
• Build advanced data grids and tables using AG Grid for rich data presentation.
• Partner with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and initiatives to elevate engineering standards.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system architecture, performance metrics, and overall user experience rather than merely executing specified tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional experience developing applications with Angular.
• Deep expertise with Angular 17+ or recent versions, demonstrating readiness to adopt the latest releases.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Prior experience implementing UI libraries, specifically Angular Material.
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional attention to detail, capable of delivering pixel-accurate and polished interfaces.
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge requirements, spot risks early, and suggest improvements.
• Ability to anticipate edge cases, alternative flows, error handling, loading/empty states, permissions, and validation logic.
• Strong analytical skills to decompose complex requirements into manageable technical solutions.
• Commitment to writing maintainable, well-tested code with a focus on performance, accessibility, and UX.
• Experience working within Agile development frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in writing unit tests.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.

• Experience with state management solutions such as NgRx or Signals.
• Familiarity with techniques for optimizing frontend performance.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Understanding of the crypto ecosystem.
