Senior Frontend Developer

Decentriq AG seeks a Senior Frontend Developer in Zürich to build privacy-preserving data collaboration interfaces using React, TypeScript, and WebAssembly.

This position focuses on developing the primary web application for Decentriq’s platform, which enables secure data collaboration among advertisers, retailers, and publishers. The engineer will create browser-based interfaces that handle cryptographic attestation and complex data visualization, serving as the main point of interaction for the company’s privacy-preserving infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of client-side features, from initial design through to deployment, utilizing React and Joy UI.
• Address intricate state-management issues within a data-heavy, modern application environment.
• Develop and refine advanced client-side data processing logic executed directly in the browser via WebAssembly.
• Create interactive visualizations that transform raw data into clear, actionable insights for users.
• Utilize AI-driven code assistants, design generators, and automated testing tools to accelerate development cycles.
• Partner with design, product, and engineering teams across the organization to align on goals and execution.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, accompanied by at least three years of professional experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication abilities with fluent proficiency in English.
• Possess extensive hands-on expertise in TypeScript, React, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Reside in or be prepared to relocate to Zürich, committing to a hybrid schedule with three days per week on-site.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools effectively while upholding rigorous engineering standards.
• Show a track record of constructing responsive, data-intensive user interfaces through efficient state management and memoization techniques.

Nice to have

• Background in web applications requiring heavy data processing, such as WebAssembly, and visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Recharts.
• Experience in technical leadership roles.
• Readiness to learn Rust for implementing minor backend modifications.
