Comfone seeks a Mid-level Frontend Developer in Bern to build and maintain React/TypeScript applications for Big Data services within a hybrid, international team.

Responsibilities
- Create and upkeep frontend interfaces for Big Data-related Data Management Services products.
- Manage the complete application development process, covering user needs, design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Deliver high-quality, reusable, and well-tested software that is easy to maintain.
- Work closely with team members in an agile Scrum setting characterized by open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or a completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence.
- At least three years of hands-on experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of React principles, including component architecture, hooks, state management, and the creation of reusable UI elements.
- Strong command of TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript features.
- Practical experience with modern frontend tooling and package managers like pnpm, Yarn, and Vite.
- Understanding of RESTful web services.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland as a Swiss or EU national, or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to Ant Design, AG Grid, Redux Toolkit (RTK), and RTK Query.
- Ability to speak additional languages beyond English.
