Senior Software Engineer - Frontend - New Product

Restream.io seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend to develop user interfaces for its web services, supporting new and existing features in a hybrid, full-time role based in CH. The position requires expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies, with a focus on design and user experience.

This role focuses on building and refining interfaces for Restream’s web services, supporting both new and existing features. The engineer will collaborate with product designers and the development team to deliver high-quality, user-friendly experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually appealing and functional interfaces for Restream’s web services
• Design and implement UI components and business logic for new and existing features
• Collaborate with product designers to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences
• Participate in code reviews by providing and receiving feedback from the team
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and identify potential improvements within the platform

Requirements

• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset focused on delivering high-quality work efficiently
• Strong sense of design, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent user experience
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ECMAScript standards
• Expertise in React and its primary state management tools
• Experience using CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS
• Basic backend knowledge including Node.js, REST API development, and relational or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with TypeScript, MobX, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous deployment processes
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, analytical thinker who collaborates well in a team setting

• Experience with additional programming languages beyond those required
