Senior IT Project Manager – Strategic Finance Transformation in Pharma

The company is looking for an experienced project manager to drive the modernization of finance processes and enterprise systems within a major pharmaceutical organization. Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete delivery lifecycle of strategic finance transformation and financial technology projects.
• Convert business objectives and transformation strategies into clear IT roadmaps and execution plans.
• Lead the standardization and optimization of global finance workflows and their supporting technology platforms.
• Manage the implementation and upgrades of key financial systems, including SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Workday.
• Collaborate with finance teams, IT departments, business units, and external partners to define scope and requirements.
• Control project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and change management activities.
• Facilitate the transformation of finance processes in areas such as reporting, planning, controlling, and accounting.
• Supervise vendors and third-party integrations to ensure quality, compliance, and strategic alignment.
• Ensure all deliverables meet pharmaceutical industry regulations, IT governance standards, and internal quality requirements.
• Provide executive-level updates on project progress, risks, and business value to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing complex IT projects within the finance domain.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, particularly SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Workday.
• Expertise in change management and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical project plans.
• Experience working in regulated industries, preferably pharmaceuticals.
