Senior Product Manager - Observe by Snowflake, Enterprise

Snowflake Computing Switzerland GmbH seeks a Senior Product Manager for its Observe platform in Zürich. The role focuses on enterprise strategy, roadmap ownership, and driving adoption for large-scale customers.

This position leads the product strategy for Observe by Snowflake, an AI-powered observability platform designed for scale. The role serves as the central link between enterprise clients, go-to-market teams, engineering, and platform groups, owning the product surface critical to the company's largest and most demanding accounts.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the enterprise product roadmap, prioritizing onboarding, adoption, migration, and cost-efficiency strategies.
• Conduct in-depth enterprise discovery via structured research with Fortune 500 and high-growth corporate accounts.
• Develop enterprise platform features including RBAC, SSO/SAML, audit logging, data retention, compliance, cost control, metering, and billing.
• Collaborate with Snowflake platform teams to shape integrations that deliver distinct value to enterprise buyers.
• Work with GTM and Sales Engineering to support late-stage negotiations and address product gaps.
• Lead 0-to-1 and 1-to-N initiatives to create scalable, GA-ready offerings.
• Represent the product in high-stakes scenarios through executive briefings, QBRs, and internal leadership reviews.

Requirements

• Six or more years of product management experience, including three or more years in infrastructure, developer tools, observability, or enterprise SaaS.
• A history of shipping in competitive enterprise markets, displacing incumbents, winning deals, and driving adoption at large scale.
• Deep knowledge of observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, APM, alerts, SLOs) and the enterprise buying journey for infrastructure software.
• Strong grasp of enterprise product requirements: security, compliance, governance, RBAC, SSO, audit logging, and operational expectations of large IT organizations.
• Technical fluency in distributed systems, streaming ingest, and open standards (OpenTelemetry, Apache Iceberg).
• Experience navigating the complexity of an acquisition or platform integration.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing crisp PRDs and specs, presenting to C-suite stakeholders, and influencing without authority.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI SRE, AIOps, or agentic observability workflows.
• Familiarity with the OpenTelemetry ecosystem and open-source community dynamics.
• Exposure to modern data ingestion, storage, and retrieval systems including Kafka, SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing technologies.
• Background working with or within a data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) on an enterprise product surface.
• Experience managing or influencing a Customer Advisory Board or enterprise design partner program.
