Product Manager

SR Technics seeks a Senior Product Manager in Zürich to lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and cross-functional coordination within the aerospace sector.

The company is looking for a professional to manage the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring that customer offers are competitive, accurate, and profitable. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team during negotiations and ensuring that signed contracts are seamlessly transferred to execution teams for proper implementation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, cost-effective, and innovative proposals for clients, including precise pricing calculations.
• Review and validate all contracts, offers, and General Terms and Conditions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Document specific assumptions and coordinate with Product Management and other departments, particularly when standard procedures do not apply.
• Partner with the Sales department to support and lead negotiations throughout the proposal stage.
• Facilitate the transition of contract details to operational teams after signing to guarantee correct execution.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and partners while maintaining a thorough understanding of the product portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting post-mortem analyses and enhancing internal tools.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or business administration, complemented by solid financial and commercial expertise.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a commercial capacity within the aerospace industry or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear presentations.
• A self-motivated, precise, and responsible work ethic with a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost control.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with SAP systems.
• Fluency in English at a C1 level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MRO processes or engine systems is preferred.
• Ability to speak additional languages is considered a plus.
