Groupe la prairie seeks a Senior Quality Manager Compliance & Standards in Zürich, CH, to lead and improve the quality management system for Luxury operations. The role requires expertise in compliance, SOPs, CAPA, and change management, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional development.
This role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management system within the Luxury Global QM department, ensuring consistent quality, compliance, and governance across all key processes and business interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Oversee QMS governance for Luxury HQ and external manufacturing sites.
- Maintain a formal, standardized, and continuous quality management system.
- Develop and update standards, procedures, and practices to ensure quality compliance.
- Own SOP management, deviations, CAPA, and change management processes for Luxury.
- Monitor and review QMS performance against set criteria and track KPI results.
- Support certification efforts for key processes, units, products, and services.
- Ensure QMS requirements are applied across all business units and departments.
- Research market and manufacturing best practices to improve and adapt Luxury’s quality standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise for external quality audits and standardize quality practices.
- Create and manage QMS training materials and deployment plans for employees.
- Build QMS capabilities by organizing training and competency development, especially in auditing and compliance.
- Align business and technology processes with enterprise quality management needs.
- Collaborate with IT/Digitalization to develop and deploy technology solutions supporting quality systems.
- Manage the Supply Chain SharePoint, including updates, enhancements, and access rights.
- Lead special projects and integration efforts across Quality, ensuring alignment and performance tracking.
- Track project performance and key indicators to ensure progress and accountability.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in quality, engineering, life sciences, or a related scientific field.
- 4–6 years of experience in FMCG production, preferably in cosmetics with OTC-regulated products.
- Proven experience leading quality initiatives in complex, cross-functional settings.
- Strong knowledge of quality management, compliance, and industry standards.
- Experience in driving change, transformation, and continuous improvement in dynamic environments.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Advanced graduate studies or degrees are beneficial.
- Prior experience in the cosmetics industry with OTC-regulated products.
- German language skills are an advantage.
