Senior Manager Product Quality (m/f/d)

The company seeks a Senior Manager Product Quality in Staefa, CH, to lead the global Critical-to-Quality framework and ensure product safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across the entire product lifecycle.

This position focuses on embedding quality into products used by millions globally. The role involves owning and evolving the Critical-to-Quality framework to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance. The manager will collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, and Service teams to establish governance and drive traceability for innovative hearing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the global Critical-to-Quality framework to ensure its effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Implement global governance, standards, and best practices for quality across development, manufacturing, and service.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews to align various departments on critical quality objectives.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability for Critical-to-Quality attributes from design through service.
  • Incorporate Critical-to-Quality elements into key processes like FMEA and Safety Risk Management.
  • Utilize field performance data and customer insights to refine quality standards and future products.
  • Enhance methodologies, tools, and KPIs for quality improvement.
  • Educate stakeholders on applying quality principles.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering, Quality, Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence within regulated industries like Medical Devices, Aerospace, or Automotive.
  • Practical experience applying APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and lean initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304 is beneficial.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional quality initiatives and influencing stakeholders in global organizations.
  • A pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • German language skills.
  • Experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304.
