Senior Quality Specialist

Nestle seeks a Senior Quality Specialist in Orbe, CH, to enhance food contact material compliance and safety within beverage systems through cross-functional collaboration.

This position focuses on reinforcing food safety and regulatory adherence for food contact materials across beverage operations. The specialist works alongside quality, regulatory, legal, manufacturing, and business teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure products meet all safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify that packaging, lines, and machines utilize safe, compliant materials designed to protect consumers.
• Provide actionable compliance guidance during product and system development to support confident market launches.
• Develop research and development capabilities so that compliance is integrated early in the design process.
• Convert regulatory updates into clear action plans to maintain alignment across products, processes, and communications.
• Liaise with internal experts and external partners to improve quality, food safety, and business decisions.
• Participate in industry forums and authority exchanges regarding food contact material topics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food contact materials, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance within food, beverage, or packaging sectors.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in science or chemistry related to packaging.
• Fluent proficiency in English for communication.

• A master’s degree or certificate in regulatory affairs or chemistry.
